The University Forum 2010: Arts-based Research – Art and Society will take place in Alpbach/Tyrol, Austria on 25 August 2010 as part of the European Forum Alpbach 2010: Construction and reality.

The Forum will offer an overview of the achievements of Austrian universities in the field of arts-based research with a focus on the processes of artistic production. Issues concerning the relationship between art and society and the interplay between the art market, the media and political art will also be examined.

There will be simultaneous translation between German and English.
