Melissa Koops joined EUA in May 2009 as Policy Officer and provides support to the Secretary General regarding overall policy development, and specifically in relation to the EUA statutory meetings.
She previously worked as Senior Education Policy Adviser at the Australian Mission to the European Communities in Brussels. Prior to this, she has held a number of positions with the Australian Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations in Australia, and the European Science Foundation in Strasbourg, all in policy areas with an international education or research focus. Melissa Koops holds a Master’s Degree in International Business Studies from Maastricht University, the Netherlands.
