Arrival in Palermo and transport services
Palermo "Falcone-Borsellino" Airport
The University of Palermo will set up a welcome desk at "Falcone-Borsellino" Airport.
The welcome desk will provide information on shuttle buses, tickets for local transport, and general information on arrival.
Conference Shuttle buses (free service) will be provided between the Airport and the hotels in correspondence with some flights.
All Participants are requested to send their arrival and departure times to local organisers (sternheim@unipa.it and randazzo@unipa.it) in order to take advantage of the shuttle bus service.

From Palermo to the airport and vice versa: the bus company is called Autolinee Prestia e Comandè
Route: Palermo (Central Station), via Emerico Amari (Port), Politeama, Via Libertà (near piazza A. Gentili), via Libertà (on the corner of viale Lazio), via Libertà (on the corner of via D'annunzio), via Croce Rossa - Piazza A. De Gasperi, via Ausonia, via Belgio, Aeroporto.
Timetable:
- from the Airport from 6h30 to 24h00 - every half hour
- from Palermo - first trip 4h00- from 05h00 to 23h00 - every half hour

Taxi
The airport's taxi service is in operation from 06h00 to 24h00 and the taxi rank is to be found outside the Arrivals Area.

Shuttle buses during the conference
The University of Palermo will provide shuttle buses for transport between the hotels and the conference venues. Shuttle buses will also be available for the social events. Detailed bus schedules will be included in the delegates’ bags. Participants will be met by student assistants in the hotel lobby and will be accompanied to the conference shuttle bus terminals.
