Call for Contributions: Yebo! Project “PhD portal”

The European University Association (EUA) is a partner in the Yebo! project. We invite European universities to share relevant opportunities available for South African doctoral candidates as contributions towards the development of an online Yebo! portal.
About the project
The Yebo! project is focused on developing the internationalisation of doctoral education in South African universities, increasing the number of doctoral candidates and staff trained in the internationalisation of doctoral education, as well as the facilitation of access to information relating to funding, mobility and administrative procedure. Three main objectives have been identified in response to the capacity-building of South African universities:
- develop a web-based portal to provide better access to information and training material
- organise international thematic conferences and training sessions
- evaluate each partner’s level of internationalization activity in doctoral education
Yebo! is a project that involves seven South African universities and five European universities and builds on the framework for international doctoral education developed in the FRINDOC project.
