Webinar 2 – Internationalisation and mobility policies and practices

This second webinar of EUA’s series “Towards the Bologna Process Ministerial Meeting” addressed internationalisation, including mobility. While the Bologna Process, by nature, can be considered as a booster for increasing exchange and cooperation among the countries of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), it also aims at fostering policy dialogue with partners from outside the EHEA, notably through the organisation of a Global Policy Forum, attached to each Ministerial Meeting.

In the past, the Process has received interest from other parts of the world, as an example of regional cooperation in higher education. But nowadays, is the Bologna Process still of international interest, and what issues are benefiting from a global dialogue? Reversely, which topics from the global higher education scene would benefit from being picked up in the Bologna Process? What is or could be the added value of the Bologna Process for individual universities when addressing internationalisation?

This webinar has gathered speakers from different backgrounds and countries, to offer both institutional and analytical perspectives in a dynamic exchange. The topic is especially timely in the current pandemic as internationalisation, including mobility in particular, is either put on a hold or becoming virtual.

Tuesday, 13 October, 14.00 – 15.00 CEST
