As a main partner in the FAIRsFAIR project, EUA organised this webinar to share and discuss the FAIRsFAIR policy and service recommendations for research data management at research organisations, as well as institutional good practices and the role of FAIR data within Horizon Europe.

Universities and researchers across Europe are increasingly expected to manage research data according to the FAIR principles, most notably through Horizon Europe. Therefore, research data policies, support services, processes and infrastructure at higher education institutions need to be ready for FAIR data. Bottom-up and top-down measures must converge at the institutional level, making this a challenge of strategic relevance that encompasses different levels and stakeholders within a university.

FAIRsFAIR, a European-level project funded through the European Open Science Cloud initiative, is at the forefront of developing recommendations and guidance documents on how to build and sustain research data management policies and services within research performing organisations.
