NIDL’s online survey on the affect in online teaching during Covid-19

13 May 2020

The National Institute for Digital Learning (NIDL) at Dublin City University (DCU) launched an online survey to investigate the affective experience of educators as they adapted to teaching online in response to Covid-19.

The results of this investigation will help NIDL researchers to better understand the educator experience and help inform support strategies in the future.

Participants will self-report on their affective experience (emotions, attitudes and beliefs) while teaching online, through the online questionnaire, which will also contain some background questions for comparative purposes.

On completion of the questionnaire, participants will have to the option to volunteer to participate in an interview, which will be conducted online. The interview will be an opportunity to expand on answers provided in the questionnaire.
