Where should the EU invest in the future? Choose your priorities and get engaged!

The European Commission has launched a series of public consultations to ask stakeholders and citizens in which areas Europe should invest in the future.


This is to prepare the next Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) post-2020 which will also include the next Erasmus Programme, the Framework Programme for Research (FP9) and structural funds. EUA is closely involved in the discussions through its campaign on EU Funding for Universities and will continue to advocate for ambitious, simple and sustainable funding on behalf of its members. The consultations are partly carried out through questionnaires, where it is important to have many responses from universities, pointing the importance of investing in education and research in the next decade. For this reason, EUA calls on individual universities and national rectors conferences to support these efforts by responding to the European Commission’s public consultations by 8 March 2018.
