UNESCO open science calls: Sustainable Development Goals, best practices

UNESCO has recently launched two calls in the area of open science.

Firstly, a global call is underway for papers on shaping the future of global scientific practices in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, focused on ‘Open Science Policies as an Accelerator for Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals’ and will culminate in a Special Topics Issue of the Journal of Science Policy & Governance. The deadline for submissions is 10 July 2022, and the full details of the call are available here.

Secondly, UNESCO is collecting best practices in open science at individual, institutional, national, regional and international levels for an upcoming compendium. Submissions are welcome (in English, French and Spanish) until 15 July 2022. Further information can be found at this link.
