European Commission launches calls for evidence on Horizon Europe and Horizon 2020

The European Commission recently launched two new calls for evidence for the interim evaluation of Horizon Europe and the post-evaluation of Horizon 2020.
These initiatives will help evaluate, respectively, the first results of Horizon Europe’s research and innovation actions funded by the EU in 2021-2023 and the outputs and impact of the entire Horizon 2020 programme over the years 2014-2020.
The feedback round will be followed by two broader public consultations to be held in the fourth quarter of 2022. The interim evaluation of Horizon Europe is expected to be carried out by the end of 2024, while the final evaluation of Horizon Europe will be completed by the end of 2023.
EUA encourages its members to provide their feedback on the two programmes. The calls for evidence will be open until 29 July 2022 (midnight CEST).
