In light of the elections for European Parliament, the University of Cologne is organising, together with the Coimbra Group, an unprecedented initiative on views on European Integration within the EU member states.

This lecture series started on Tuesday, 2 April 2019, at 6 pm (CET) and will continue every Tuesday until 9 July 2019. Nineteen of the twenty-five speakers are from Coimbra Group member universities.

The entire lecture series will be broadcasted live on the Internet, using the web conferencing tool “Adobe Connect”. All Coimbra Group member Universities are invited to join and transmit the lectures to a local lecture hall. No particular requirements are needed, as the transmission works like a web page and can be projected like any other streaming web site. Unfortunately, technical constraints limit the number of connections and prevent us from offering the lectures as a public and freely accessible web stream. If you are interested in projecting the lectures in a local lecture hall, please contact johannes.mueller@uni-koeln.de or moleiro@coimbra-group.eu and they will provide you with access to the web conferencing stream.

Furthermore, the series will be published as a video podcast on the Coimbra Group’s YouTube channel. All lectures will be made available in a Playlist, and all CG member universities are invited and even kindly requested to promote the channel on their university websites, or embed the Playlist in one of their web pages. The address for the Playlist is: http://bit.ly/narratives4eu.

The lectures will be uploaded within a few days to allow for postproduction, but at the latest a week after they have taken place.

The University of Cologne look forward very much to this project and hope that you will find it useful, as well.
