Briefing from Europe’s universities to the EU Council Presidency Trio – France, Czech Republic, Sweden

During the upcoming presidencies of the Council of the European Union, there will be an opportunity to work towards long-term system transformation by jointly strengthening research, education and innovation in Europe.

In this EUA briefing, Europe’s universities launch a proposal on the main policy areas that must be addressed to this end. They cover coherent and efficient governance structures, transnational collaboration, the reform of academic careers, the protection of university values, sufficient and sustainable funding, global engagement and the promotion of university capacity in the digital transformation.
