Can universities lead on clean technologies?
Technological advancements are often seen as the key to tackling the climate crisis and environmental degradation. With this in mind, many universities have invested in research and innovation, as well as in skills for clean tech and technologies, with support from students, entrepreneurs and industry.
It has now been ten years since the United Nations launched the Sustainable Development Goals, and six years since the European Green Deal was first presented. Particularly, the Green Deal relied on technological solutions for environmental sustainability, where universities could play an important role.
Has this delivered results? And what’s next? This webinar will take a critical look at universities and their role in developing clean technologies for sustainability.
