Following the publication of EUA’s ‘Trends 2024’ report, the authors will present the main findings and share their analysis of current developments in the European higher education sector.
Based on responses from some 489 higher education institutions, this ninth edition of EUA’s long-run series highlights the ways institutions address their multiple missions, in the context of notable political, economic and social changes such as the Covid-19 pandemic and Russia’s war against Ukraine. While analysing the increasing importance of the third mission for institutions, Trends 2024 also focuses on the education mission, changes in the student body and the education offer, and developments in mobility and internationalisation.
