During October, the DIAMAS project has been collecting feedback from stakeholders on a set of actionable recommendations for Diamond OA for institutional leaders, funders, sponsors and donors, and policy makers.
To start a conversation on the implementation of the resulting recommendations, an online event “Creating actionable policy recommendations and guidelines for Diamond OA” will be organised on 18 November 2024 at 13:00-15:00 CET. Participants will be able to provide additional feedback to the recommendations, but also take part in a shared discussion on their value as a comprehensive framework for implementation. Where are the challenges, and where do we see opportunities?
The event will provide participants with an in-depth overview of DIAMAS’ draft policy recommendations and guidelines aimed at strengthening Diamond OA journals and platforms across institutional, national and European levels. This first part will be followed by a more interactive feedback-gathering session, during which participants will be asked to share their comments and engage in discussions regarding the proposed set of recommendations.
