2024 marks the start of first phase of the Pannónia Scholarship Programme.
This programme offers both short and long-term mobility opportunities for Hungarian higher education students and staff to study, research, teach, or do traineeships abroad. As such, it aims to support the internationalisation efforts of Hungarian higher education institutions as well as the implementation of high-quality mobilities, which opens up the world for students and staff, and strengthens the competitiveness of Hungarian institutions in the international higher education landscape. Students and staff can apply for outgoing mobilities in their own institutions. The programme is coordinated by the Tempus Public Foundation and its funding is provided by the Hungarian government.
In addition, the National Research, Development and Innovation Office (NRDI Office) in Hungary has announced a new call to support the launch of international research projects.
The HU-rizon Programme aim to support the development of strategically important international partnerships and assist Hungarian researchers in getting ready to lead large-scale international projects in the future. The programme has identified digitalisation, the green transition and the preservation of a healthy life as its three priority focus areas. The call for applications for 24-36-month collaborative projects, which can be awarded a budget up to HUF 400 million, is open until 5 July 2024.
