The Call for Proposals for the SCOPE-HE Academic Connectivity Grant is now open. This grant is designed to strengthen cross-regional connectivity by bringing together clusters of 4-6 higher education institutions (HEIs) from ASEAN and the EU.

The EU-ASEAN Sustainable Connectivity Package - Higher Education Programme (SCOPE-HE) Academic Connectivity Grant supports the sustainable promotion of research, research management structures, teaching, and higher education, as well as strengthening the ties between Higher Education Institutions in the European Union (EU) and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

This funding is made available by the EU-ASEAN Sustainable Connectivity Package Higher Education Programme (SCOPE-HE), which is funded by the European Union and aims to enhance exchange and connectivity in higher education, research, and technical vocational education and training (TVET). This programme is implemented by the Dutch Organisation for Internationalisation in Education (Nuffic) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

The SCOPE-HE Academic Connectivity Grant is open to higher education institutions from member states of ASEAN and the EU that will coordinate a cluster of four to six institutions and jointly design and implement cross-regional academic connectivity activities (such as—but not limited to—: researchers, academic staff, and PhD students’ mobility; curriculum revision; networking events; publications). Three focus areas have been defined: Green Transition, Digital Transformation, and Blue Economy.

The application deadline is 15 November 2024.

An online Information Session will take place on Thursday, October 17, 2024 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM CEST, during which participants can get their questions answered directly.
