Vives Network of Universities (Xarxa Vives d'Universitats), an Affiliate of EUA, has shared a new publication which reflects the Network universities’ ongoing commitment to embedding a gender perspective across teaching, research, and university management.
The newly published Strategic framework for integrating the intersectional gender dimension into research and transfer is now available in open-access format in both English and Catalan. This publication offers a comprehensive conceptual and practical guide designed to support research teams in systematically integrating an intersectional gender perspective throughout all stages of the research process.
The framework aligns with current European Union guidelines, particularly those established under Horizon Europe, which recognise the integration of the gender dimension into research content as an indicator of scientific excellence. It is designed to help enhance the quality, relevance, and impact of research and transfer activities across disciplines.
