The Erasmus+ funded TPG-LRC CoRE project (2022-2025) has issued its two final publications on the recognition of qualifications.
The project is coordinated by the Italian Information Centre on Academic Mobility and Equivalence CIMEA and involves EUA as a partner. TPG-LRC CoRE is the umbrella project supporting the organisation of the BFUG Thematic Peer Group B on the Lisbon Recognition Convention (TPG B).
The report Mapping digital tools for recognition in the EHEA: Practices from peer support approach (March 2025) synthesises information about various initiatives at the European, national and institutional level aimed at digitally supporting recognition processes. These initiatives were shared and jointly reviewed through three peer-learning activities organised throughout 2023 for TPG B members.
In addition, the report The European degree from a recognition perspective: A look at policies and pilot experiences (March 2025) synthesises the state of play with regard to the European Commission’s plans to implement a European degree, while also raising open questions about the degree’s nature and practical implications.
In 2024, the project had published two further reports, respectively entitled Ensuring and enhancing the quality of recognition processes: Key considerations and recommendations and Micro-credentials for higher education institutions: Approaches developed in the EHEA using peer support.
With the publication of its final two reports, the TPG-LRC CoRE project has reached its end, whereas the TPG itself has already commenced its next activity cycle (2024-2027).
