The deadline to take part in the call for applications for a series of focus groups on automatic recognition assessment was extended until 5 May.

As part of the Erasmus+ funded AUREA (Automatic Recognition Assessment) project, EUA and the European University Foundation (EUF) will organise three online focus groups with representatives of European higher education institutions in May 2025. The focus groups will seek to gather in-depth information on participants’ experience with credit recognition in the context of student mobility, including challenges and areas to improve.

The AUREA project (2025-2027), which is coordinated by the European Students’ Union (ESU) and includes EUA as a project partner, aims to support automatic recognition of study periods abroad by identifying barriers, analysing existing options to overcome them and providing policy recommendations for the future of automatic recognition. The project seeks to address challenges and promote unobstructed mobility within the Erasmus+ community, thereby advancing the goal of automatic recognition.

Participation in the online focus groups is free of charge, but subject to a call for applications. Further information about the focus groups and the link to the application form are available in the call document.

In case of questions about this call and the focus groups, please send an email to helene.peterbauer@eua.eu.
