‘How universities are shaping the era of artificial intelligence’ will explore university approaches to creating and managing change in the technological sphere. This event, which takes place online on 22-23 May, builds on EUA’s work on digital transformation and marks the culmination of a year-long work programme on AI.

Conference sessions will feature selected initiatives in the adoption of AI within the institutional context as well as examining policies and frameworks designed to guide implementation. In order to showcase good practices of AI integration among EUA’s members and demonstrate how these may be adapted to similar contexts, EUA is now inviting proposals for practice presentations addressing one of the following themes:

  • Institutional guidelines and frameworks, including ethics in the use of AI
  • AI in management and services
  • AI in learning and teaching
  • Applying AI to research

**Practices or initiatives that demonstrate active student involvement – whether at bachelor’s or master’s degree level,  or among doctoral candidates – are especially welcome. Where applicable, student representatives should act as co-presenters during the relevant session.**

General requirements for proposals

Proposals should:

  • identify the presenter(s);
  • include a shot biography (up to 150 words) for the presenter(s);
