The European University Association is looking for representatives of its members and affiliates to join an online focus group as part of the development of EUA’s next Strategic Plan.

EUA is developing a new Strategic Plan to guide the future direction of the Association. As part of the consultation process, a focus group will take place on 20 November from 11.00-12.30 CET.

The session is designed to facilitate active and expansive contribution from participants on the priorities and activities which will offer the most benefit to the EUA community in the coming years.

Participation in the focus group is open to EUA members and affiliates with experience of the Association’s work. This may be through participation in EUA events, projects or working groups, or a recent contribution to an EUA publication or the Expert Voices blog series, for example.

EUA aims to bring together a mix of participants for the focus group, with diverse disciplinary and professional backgrounds.  We encourage applications from university leadership and management, professional and administrative staff, as well as from member/affiliate representatives active in learning and teaching, research or other aspects of the development of individual higher education institutions and the entire sector.

EUA invites applicants to submit an expression of interest, outlining their previous involvement with the Association and their motivation to contribute to the focus group. The deadline for submission has been extended to 31 October.

The focus group forms part of a wider consultation with the EUA community. Participants will be selected with due consideration for the diversity of EUA’s membership and with a view to gathering insights from a range of perspectives.

If you have any questions about this event or the application and selection process, please contact EUA Membership and Project Coordinator, Clare Phelan (clare.phelan@eua.eu).
