The EUA Autonomy Scorecard is a comprehensive tool that gathers, monitors, and compares system-level data regarding university autonomy across Europe since 2011.
Over the years, it has contributed to various national policy debates with regard to university autonomy and the exchange of good practices. The fourth edition of the Autonomy Scorecard, published in 2023, presents data from 35 European higher education systems, making it the most comprehensive and overarching report of its kind. The series of videos have been created to explore the application of the EUA Autonomy Scorecard in Ireland, Latvia, the Netherlands, Spain, and Sweden, providing valuable insights into the practical impact of the scorecard.
