The Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment has recently launched a Working Group on Reforming Academic Career Assessment (ACA). As such, a webinar presented the Working Group and discuss its goals, objectives and ongoing activities.

The Working Group aims to broaden the reflection on academic career assessment, taking into account the full range of work conducted by academics in research, teaching and learning, innovation, management/leadership and service to society.

The current activities of the Working Group were presented, namely the ongoing efforts to map institutional and national initiatives dedicated to reforming academic career assessment. This info session also included a reflection from different organisations on their reform processes.

This session provided an opportunity for participants to gain a deeper understanding of the CoARA Working Group ACA, actively engage in its activities and exchange on academic career assessment reforms in their own context.
