UNESCO ICT in Education Prize – Call for nominations 2018

The UNESCO King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa Prize, established in 2005 and funded by the Kingdom of Bahrain, rewards innovative approaches that determine new technologies in view of expanding educational opportunities.

The theme of the 2018 Prize is “The use of innovative information and communication technologies to ensure education for the most vulnerable groups”. This year the Prize will also highlight projects that use integrated solutions which blend commonly used technology with frontier ICT applications, including big data analytics, robotics, machine learning, artificial intelligence (AI), augmented realities (AR), etc. Two awards will be granted, and each recipient will receive USD 25,000.

The deadline to submit nominations is 31 October 2018 and the online platform is available both in English and French. You are invited to check out the ICT in Education Prize website and the attached file for further information.
