DIAMAS project launches community call to gather resources on institutional Open Access publishing

29 June 2023

As part of its efforts to support Open Access Diamond and institutional publishing, the DIAMAS project is launching a campaign to gather resources such as guidelines, best practices, training materials, toolkits, and documentation on the field.

The information will be used to create a registry of reference materials: a full list of resources with all relevant information that will become available to the whole community for further use. Furthermore, the registry will address and provide support for the adoption of the criteria of the Extensible Quality Standard for Institutional Publishing (EQSIP) developed by the project.

Resources that can be shared through the community call include:

  • Guidelines
  • Best practices
  • Training materials
  • Toolkits
  • Documentation
  • Non-textual resources and material types (e.g. presentations, recordings, tools)

Resources should address aspects such as journal funding; ownership and governance; Open Science practices; editorial quality, management and research integrity; technical service efficiency; visibility; and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI).

DIAMAS supports multilingualism and aims to gather resources in various languages to compile a registry with global relevance. If the resource is available in a language other than English, a translation of the title and a short account of its content may be provided in English.

The community call is available here and will be open until Friday 7 July.
