EUA member Central European University launched the 10th edition of the annual European Award for Excellence in Teaching in the Social Sciences and Humanities.
Students, alumni, faculty colleagues and institutional leaders are invited to submit a recommendation of a professor or a colleague by 15 December 2020. Individual faculty members are strongly encouraged to apply directly on their behalf to CEU by 31 January 2021.
All candidates will be notified of their status no later than June 2021. The winner is expected to participate in the public recognition of the award in September 2021.
The award honours academics in the social sciences and humanities who teach at higher education institutions in countries of the European Higher Education Area. It is accompanied by the €5000 Diener Prize, made possible by a generous gift from Steven and Linda Diener in memory of Ilona Diener.
