The fourth European Universities call under the Erasmus+ programme is now open for submissions.
Similarly to the last call, the 2023 call will foster existing and new deep transnational cooperation of higher education institutions in Europe. Already established alliances from 2020 have the opportunity to obtain further funding and newly formed alliances can apply as well. This time the overall budget for the call amounts to €384 million. The deadline for applications submission is 31 January 2023.
There are a couple of new features in this call, such as the fact that higher education institutions from all Western Balkan countries can participate as full partners. In addition, highly scored proposals that cannot be funded due to limited Erasmus+ funds will get a Seal of Excellence label to certify their quality and enable applicants to search for other, notably national funding sources.
The European Commission is holding an open information session for potential applicants to ask questions on the 2023 call. This will take place on the 15 November 2022.
