Starting in April 2025, the European University Association will bring together up to 20 senior university leaders for a pilot Leadership Development Programme that fosters exceptional leadership skills with a distinct European perspective.
Offering a collaborative experience focused on key leadership skills and knowledge, EUA’s Leadership Development Programme will cover themes such as leadership, governance, ethical decision making, crisis preparedness and European higher education policies. It will feature a mix of online and in-person sessions, including real-world case studies and engagement with European policy makers.
The programme begins in April 2025, with a kick-off event connected to the EUA Annual Conference in Riga, Latvia. Subsequent sessions include a five-day block in Brussels in June 2025 and a choice of two-day modules in September 2025, addressing topics such as European Universities alliances, sustainability, digital transition, or equity, diversity and inclusion. Additional online sessions will cover innovative leadership, change management, integrity in leadership and academic freedom.
Before applications open in September, you can learn more by consulting the programme brochure.
