Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) combines research methods with practical teaching insights, fostering academic development, sustainability, and accountability.

This report by the 2024 EUA Learning & Teaching Thematic Peer Group ‘Exploring strategies for institutions to leverage the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning’ analyses various aspects of the implementation of SoTL, identifies challenges, and offers recommendations to promote wider adoption. It concludes that structured frameworks, student participation, and institutional leadership are essential for embedding SoTL in higher education.
