“The EU consultation collects the views of stakeholders regarding the potential of European policies and projects to contribute to the development of a “European Area of Skills and Qualifications”, more specifically, whether existing and still to be developed European transparency tools could further support this process, in order to:

  • place a stronger focus on and enhance the relevance of skills
  • strengthen links between education/training, mobility and the labour market
  • enhance internationalisation
  • ensure overall coherence of policies and tools
  • further implement learning outcomes, boast recognition of skills and qualifications
  • increase the focus on quality assurance
  • and establish at EU level a one-stop access point to provide information and services supporting learners and workers in the European Area of Skills and Qualifications.

EUA has responded to all these points.”
